Muddy Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Muddy Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (MCWWTP) is a 75,000 gallon per day activated sludge treatment facility that serves the Midland area of Cabarrus County. It is owned by Cabarrus County and is operated and maintained by WSACC.
The plant is a DAVCO factory built treatment plant, composed of the following compartments and equipment:
Aeration and aerobic digestion zones with non-clog air diffusers
Triplex rotary positive blowers
- Inlet box with bar screen
- Access stairway and walkways
- Duplex equalization pumps with flow regulator/splitter box
